Orchestrated Horizon
Project Description:
For Mithun’s Threshold Gallery, RSVR created Orchestrated Horizon, a site-specific installation, and series of photographs documenting the studio’s recent investigations.
PHYSICAL INSTALLATION
The installation isolates color as a means of highlighting the relationship between piece and participant. The perceived gradient of color shifts relative to the viewer’s position within the space. By providing this metric, the work challenges our assumed external world and recontextualizes the viewer’s authorship.
